IBM Launches New AI Agents for Oracle Fusion Applications
IBM introduces three new AI agents for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, automating enterprise tasks and enhancing operational efficiency.
Oct 16, 2025 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced the availability of three new AI agents on the Oracle Fusion Applications AI Agent Marketplace. These agents, built with Oracle AI Agent Studio, aim to help Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications customers automate enterprise tasks and achieve higher operational efficiency.
IBM Agents Built Directly in Oracle Fusion Applications
The new agents from IBM Consulting are designed to automate processes and workflows within Oracle Fusion Applications. The three Oracle-validated agents now available are:
- Intercompany Agent: Automates the review of intercompany agreements.
- Smart Sales Order Entry Agent: Streamlines sales-order creation by generating relevant data.
- Requisition to Contract Agent: Simplifies converting purchase requisitions to contract purchase orders.

IBM Plans to Add New watsonx Orchestrate Agents
IBM also announced plans to expand the Oracle Fusion Applications ecosystem with new HR and supply chain agents built on IBM watsonx Orchestrate. These agents will join IBM's existing portfolio and leverage Red Hat OpenShift AI for multi-agent orchestration across Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
Additionally, Oracle intends to integrate IBM's Granite 4.0 AI models into its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Science via AI Quick Actions.
