Symmetri Secures 6M Seed Funding to Boost Brand AI Agent Strategies
Symmetri raises 6 million in seed funding to help brands deploy AI agents for discovery, loyalty, and visibility on platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini.
Symmetri, a 9-month-old startup, has secured $6 million in seed funding to assist brands in deploying specialized AI agents that enhance discovery, loyalty programs, and visibility on platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini. The round was led by startup studio Super{set}.
The Shift to AI-Driven Consumer Journeys
As consumers increasingly turn to AI tools for product recommendations and information, brands face challenges in maintaining visibility. Steven Wolfe Pereira, Symmetri’s chief growth officer, noted, “Today, you already see brands struggling because traffic is not coming from Google searches anymore... How do brands prepare for this agentic world? That’s where we come in.”
Symmetri’s platform helps brands:
- Simulate consumer queries on AI interfaces to analyze competitive positioning.
- Format content in Markdown for easier AI readability. “Machines don’t want to see all the pretty pictures... They want raw data,” said CEO Tom Chavez.
- Optimize loyalty programs by tailoring promotions based on customer data.
Founders and Funding
Symmetri was founded by enterprise software veterans:
- Tom Chavez (ex-CEO of Habu, acquired by LiveRamp).
- Vivek Vaidya (ex-CTO of Rapt, acquired by Microsoft).
- Steven Wolfe Pereira (ex-CMO of Datalogix, acquired by Oracle).
The startup plans to allocate most of the seed funding to engineering and scaling its technology. Symmetri currently has 15 employees and serves clients across consumer products, retail, media, financial services, and technology.
Publisher Tools and Pricing
Symmetri is also developing tools for publishers to selectively share content with AI systems. “Publishers understand the planet has tilted, and they now need precise, targeted control over their content,” Chavez added.
The platform charges a $20-per-month enterprise fee, with tiered pricing based on usage. It integrates with tools like Adobe, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
