Chinese artificial intelligence unicorn Z.ai, formerly known as Zhipu, has partnered with Alibaba Group Holding’s cloud computing unit, Alibaba Cloud, to deploy a new general-purpose AI agent. The agent is designed to handle everyday tasks such as ordering food, making reservations, and even generating videos and podcasts.
