Elon Musk's xAI team unveiled Grok 4, touted as "the most intelligent model in the world" during a livestream announcement. The model achieved state-of-the-art (SOTA) results on benchmarks, outperforming competitors like Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude 3. Key highlights:
- Humanity's Last Exam: Grok 4 scored 26.9% without tools, 41% with tool usage, and 50.7% with Grok 4 Heavy, its multi-agent variant.
- Academic Prowess: Grok 4 Heavy achieved 88.9% on GPQA, 100% on AIME 2025, and 96.7% on Math Arena, with Musk claiming it surpasses PhD-level expertise in every subject.
- Fluid Intelligence: Grok 4 scored 66.6% on ARC AGI V1, nearly doubling previous benchmarks.
