TELUS Digital acquires Gerent to enhance its agentic AI and Salesforce customer experience capabilities

TELUS Digital has announced the acquisition of Gerent, a U.S.-based Salesforce consultancy specializing in enterprise-scale implementations, integrations, and agentic AI solutions. The deal will see Gerent’s full portfolio of services integrated into TELUS Digital, with the Gerent brand set to be retired by the end of Q3 2025.

  • Gerent’s Expertise: As a Salesforce Summit Partner, Gerent holds 1,800 certifications across Salesforce’s product suite. The company has delivered over 1,000 Salesforce projects globally, logging 1.2 million implementation hours while maintaining a 4.9/5.0 customer satisfaction score.
  • Global Workforce: Gerent operates with a fully remote team across the U.S., Canada, India, and Australia.
  • Diverse Capabilities: Since its founding in 2008, Gerent has expanded its services to include digital marketing, cybersecurity, cloud services, and managed IT solutions, serving industries like banking, healthcare, retail, and more.

AI and Customer Experience Focus

Gerent has developed AI-enhanced agents that function both internally (supporting employees) and externally (enhancing customer interactions). Examples include:

  • Sales Representative Agents: Automate lead engagement via emails, meeting scheduling, and product recommendations.
  • CX Agents: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide personalized recommendations without human intervention.

These capabilities align with TELUS Digital’s Fuel iX™, a proprietary AI platform designed to transform customer experiences.
