Travel technology company Amadeus has signed a significant agreement with Google Cloud to leverage its cloud computing and AI technologies. This partnership aims to enhance Amadeus' multicloud strategy and drive AI-powered innovation in the travel industry.

Earlier this year, Amadeus renewed its cloud contract with Microsoft. The company initially partnered with Microsoft in 2021, migrating over 50% of its applications to the public cloud. The new agreement with Google Cloud raises questions about the future of Amadeus' multicloud strategy.
Amadeus' Data Center Operations
Amadeus operates a data center in Erding, Germany, which handled over 1.6 billion daily transactions in 2018. The company has not confirmed plans for a complete exit from its data center, despite its cloud migration efforts.
