Sonata Software Launches AgentBridge for Enterprise AI Agent Management
Sonata Software introduces AgentBridge, a managed services platform for deploying and governing AI agents with support for A2A and MCP protocols.
Sonata Software has launched AgentBridge, a managed services platform designed to streamline enterprise AI deployment. The platform enables businesses to design, deploy, and govern intelligent agents at scale through a centralized system.
Key Features of AgentBridge
- Unified Orchestration: Addresses fragmented AI tools and siloed systems by offering a single layer for managing AI workflows.
- Protocol Support: Built to support Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Google’s Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol.
- Enterprise-Grade Governance: Includes built-in guardrails, compliance features, and secure access controls.
Industry Impact
Manu Swami, SVP and Head of Technology at Sonata Software, highlighted the platform’s potential to reduce processing time by 50–90% in sectors like insurance. "What typically involves four to five manual touchpoints can now be handled through a single chatbot interface," he said.
Revenue and Adoption
AI currently accounts for 4% of Sonata’s revenue, with a target of 20% within three years. The company is pursuing a $34 million pipeline in AI programs with over 100 clients.
Platform Components
- Agent Marketplace: For publishing and managing reusable agents.
- Visual Agent Builder: Drag-and-drop interface for creating agents.
- Multi-Agent Workflows: Support for complex system integrations.
Future Plans
Rajsekhar Datta Roy, CTO of Sonata Software, emphasized the platform’s role in scalable and compliant AI deployment. Sharmila Sherikar, Head of Corporate Development, noted that 97% of Sonata’s workforce is already trained in GenAI, with further training on agentic workflows underway.
Recent Developments
In April, Sonata secured a $73 million AI-led modernization deal for a major US-based firm in the TMT sector.
Internal Deployment
Sonata plans to deploy AgentBridge internally to streamline operations and improve employee experience, with no expected job cuts. "Roles will evolve to focus on value-added tasks," Sherikar added.
AgentBridge is part of Sonata’s broader Harmoni.ai portfolio, focusing on responsible and scalable AI solutions. The platform supports LLMs and SLMs from hyperscalers and niche vendors, with plans to develop proprietary LLMs in the future.
