Juan Loaiza, Oracle's executive vice president of mission-critical database technologies, emphasized the critical role Oracle plays in global infrastructure during a conversation with theCUBE analyst Dave Vellante.

• Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance: Oracle has upgraded its data protection solution to enable ultra-fast recovery, essential for industries like healthcare, finance, and retail. Loaiza highlighted the need to restore massive datasets—sometimes hundreds of petabytes—within hours.
• JSON Relational Duality: A breakthrough feature allowing data access in multiple formats (graphs, documents, tables) without compromising performance. Loaiza called this a "radical new thing" and predicted it would shape the future of data management.
• AI Integration: Oracle is embedding AI directly into its database systems, enabling seamless interaction with data. "You no longer need to speak the language of databases," Loaiza said. "The database will speak your language."

Multicloud and AI Compatibility

Oracle remains committed to multicloud accessibility, ensuring users can leverage its data products across platforms. While Oracle doesn’t develop proprietary AI models, it supports integration with hyperscaler AI systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
