Biometric Authentication

ZeroBiometrics offers biometric linking for AI agents, while Anetac provides identity visibility solutions to address growing identity management needs.

AI agents are creating significant challenges for digital identity assurance, particularly in distinguishing them from human identities and managing their ownership and permissions. With the global AI agent market projected to grow from $5.25 billion in 2024 to $52.62 billion by 2030 (MarketsandMarkets), organizations face mounting pressure to track and control these non-human identities.

Identity Management Struggles

Fei Liu, Okta's Senior Emerging Tech Researcher, highlighted at RSA Conference 2025 that most organizations lack a strategy for managing AI agents. Unlike traditional identities, AI agents require access to user-specific data and workflows to function effectively (SC World).

ZeroBiometrics' Biometric Binding Solution

ZeroBiometrics has introduced a template-free biometric cryptography system to link AI agents to human identities. Their method uses certificate chains to bind agents to verified individuals, ensuring accountability and control. CEO Alfred Chan emphasized that this prevents AI agents from being hijacked or misused.

Key features of ZeroBiometrics' solution:

  • Real-time biometric authentication
  • Pre-defined transaction limits
  • Support for decentralized ledgers and PKI

Frontegg's Identity Layer for AI Agents

Frontegg has launched an identity management platform tailored for AI agent developers. Their solution addresses the lack of standardized identity frameworks, offering:

  • Multi-tenant onboarding
  • Enterprise-grade policy controls
  • Token rotation and security measures

CTO Aviad Mizrachi stressed that without proper identity infrastructure, scaling AI agents becomes nearly impossible.

Anetac Enhances Identity Visibility

Anetac unveiled Human Link Pro, a software upgrade to its Identity Vulnerability Management Platform. The tool provides real-time visibility into both human and non-human identities, detecting risks like:

  • Privilege escalations
  • Dormant accounts
  • Behavioral anomalies

Anetac showcased these capabilities at RSA Conference 2025, demonstrating their applicability across finance, healthcare, and critical infrastructure sectors.

Key Takeaways

  • The AI agent market is expanding rapidly, creating identity management gaps.
  • Biometric binding and identity layers are emerging as critical solutions.
  • Companies like ZeroBiometrics, Frontegg, and Anetac are pioneering tools to secure AI agent interactions.
