SPUTNIK operates in a foggy map universe within Dark Forest, where it must explore, reason, and complete tasks with incomplete information. Human players can interact with SPUTNIK by:
- Betting $DARK to provide "intelligence" (e.g., coordinates or strategies) and earning rewards if successful.
- Losing their bet if the provided information proves ineffective.
- Training and sponsoring the AI, turning the game into an AI-driven "Squid Game."
All SPUTNIK actions are executed through an on-chain wallet, laying the groundwork for fully autonomous on-chain AI.
The Technical Core: MCP Protocol
DARK leverages the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, to enable real-time interaction between AI and external systems. MCP acts as a "USB interface" for AI, offering:
- Dynamic data access: Real-time queries of on-chain/off-chain data.
- Two-way communication: AI can both read data and execute actions (e.g., placing bets, deploying contracts).
