The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has released a comprehensive report on the future of New Food Sources and Production Systems (NFPS), identifying both opportunities and challenges in this rapidly evolving space. The study, conducted under FAO's Food Safety Foresight Program, utilized expert consultations, Delphi surveys, and mind mapping to analyze 44 emerging innovations across nine key clusters.
