Torq Enhances HyperSOC with Revrod Acquisition for Advanced AI Security
Torq's acquisition of Revrod integrates multi-agent RAG technology into HyperSOC 2.0, aiming to reduce security team workload and improve threat response.
Torq, an autonomous security operations provider, has acquired Israeli AI startup Revrod to integrate its multi-agent retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology into Torq HyperSOC 2.0. This move aims to alleviate the strain on security operations teams overwhelmed by high-volume cyberattacks.
Key Benefits of HyperSOC 2.0
- Reduced Investigation Time: The updated HyperSOC offers a comprehensive data trail that cuts investigation time by up to 90%.
- Increased Alert Capacity: SOC teams can manage 3-5 times more alerts without adding staff or compromising performance.
- Automation: Over 95% of Tier-1 analyst tasks can be automated, significantly reducing workload.
Francis Odum, Cyber Research Software Analyst, praised the innovation: "Torq HyperSOC makes the potential of AI in a SOC attainable and sustainable by connecting AI with the SOC’s full range of tools and processes."
Advanced AI Agents in HyperSOC 2.0
The integration of Revrod's technology expands Torq’s Agentic AI system into an OmniAgent capable of deep research, planning, and execution. Key AI agents include:
- Investigation Agent: Uncovers hidden patterns and performs root cause analysis.
- Case Management Agent: Delivers faster access to real-time and historical data.
- Runbook Agent: Customizes autonomous orchestration of threat investigations.
- Remediation Agent: Enables organization-specific remediation actions.
CEO Ofer Smadari stated, "We’re confident Torq is 1.5 years ahead of our competition in delivering true autonomy for security operations."
