Revionics has announced the alpha release of its multi-agent AI pricing system at the Google Cloud Next 2025 event in Las Vegas. The live demonstration showcased how intelligent AI agents collaborate to help retailers solve complex pricing problems and optimize decisions using natural language interactions.
Key Highlights:
- Leveraging Google Cloud's Agent Development Kit (ADK) on Vertex AI, Revionics' pricing agents work together to unlock unprecedented productivity, data democratization, and real-time decision-making in retail pricing.
- Josh Oettle, SVP of Product Management and Engineering at Revionics, emphasized the system's ability to automate entire workflows. For example, one agent identifies products priced higher than competitors, another forecasts business impacts of price changes, and a third applies business rules during execution.
- Scott Zucker, Revionics General Manager, highlighted the groundbreaking nature of this release, combining predictive AI with agentic AI to transform how retailers interact with pricing solutions and data.
How It Works
The system allows pricing managers to make complex requests in natural language. For instance, a manager could say, “Find the products that had the biggest change in elasticity, and change the price of those products by 10% while maintaining a 2% margin.” The AI agents break down the request, orchestrate across tools, and execute actions faster than manual processes.
Future Plans
Revionics also previewed Conversational Analytics, a data agent enabling users to query data in natural language and take action based on insights. This is a precursor to the multi-agent pricing system, slated for a 2026 launch with availability on Google Agentspace after pilot testing in 2025.
Industry Impact
Zucker stated, “We’re taking retailers on an AI journey—from GenAI chatbots to conversational analytics to AI pricing agents.” The goal is to provide retailers with intelligent, data-driven tools to thrive in a fast-paced, resource-constrained market.
