Key Features of the New AI Agents
The new agents will be part of Google Unified Security, a recently launched integrated security solution. Google envisions a future where human analysts collaborate with AI agents to handle routine tasks, allowing analysts to focus on more complex security challenges.
Alert Triage Agent
- Functionality: Automatically investigates security alerts by analyzing context and gathering relevant information.
- Benefits: Provides a verdict along with a detailed history of how the decision was reached, reducing the workload for human analysts.
Malware Analysis Agent
- Functionality: Determines whether code is safe or harmful, executes deobfuscation scripts, and summarizes findings.
- Benefits: Offers a final verdict on code safety, streamlining the malware analysis process.
Availability
Both agents are set to roll out in Q2 2025.
